APAC Liver Disease Alliance Summit 2024

The first APAC Liver Disease Alliance Summit, "Hep-Free: Eliminating Asia’s Silent Public Health Threat by 2030," took place in October 2024 in Bangkok. It was organised by the APAC Liver Disease Alliance and the Thai Ministry of Public Health, Department of Disease Control. The summit aimed to enhance cooperation to prevent, diagnose, and treat hepatitis. It brought together health ministries, policymakers, funders, international organizations, researchers, doctors, patients, and caregivers to foster collaboration, discuss policies, and share knowledge to reduce liver disease in the APAC region.
